We just celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and that usually signals the beginning of my favorite time of year—what I call flip flop season (a.k.a. Spring, Summer and Fall!)

It’s also a time of rapid growth and renewal—just look around outside!

Trees are blooming.

Flowers are blossoming.

And there’s an energy in the air that is simply undeniable.

So, needless to say, I’ve been thinking a lot about growth lately. And with the treasure trove of amazing emails and feedback I’ve received in recent weeks, I’ve come across one question that gets at the very heart of authentic and sustainable personal growth.

In fact, this question has come up on multiple occasions recently, so I decided that I needed to make a short video for you:

As someone who is committed to personal and professional growth, you’ve probably considered this question many times.

I truly believe that this is one of the most important questions you can answer, both for yourself, and for those who look to you for advice.

I can personally tell you that I’ve been to the edge and back during my entrepreneurial journey.

I know what it’s like to stare failure in the face.

I know what it’s like to run out of answers.

And I know what it’s like to feel lonely, with nowhere to turn.

And no matter where you are or where you’ve been, I know you can relate.

So, as we move into a season of growth and renewal, take some time to think about the advice you’d give your younger self.

It just might help someone who looks to you for guidance.  So, take time to remember your roots, appreciate your journey, and pay it forward

Cheers,
